2. Cloud Hosting & Server Log Files

This web application is hosted on the global edge network of Vercel Inc. (USA). When you access pages on ViceCityTracker, our servers automatically record standard technical server log data required to deliver content securely:

• Browser type, version, and operating system
• Referrer URL (previously visited page)
• Anonymized IP address and request timestamp

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in ensuring the technical stability, DDoS protection, and performance of our web services). We also use privacy-friendly, cookie-free Vercel Web Analytics and browser LocalStorage (to store your VIP status, map progress, and free query counters locally on your device).

3. AI Wiretap Oracle (OpenAI API)

When you submit a question to the AI Wiretap Oracle, your text prompt is transmitted via an encrypted server route to the API of OpenAI, L.L.C. solely to generate the real-time in-character response.

Security Advisory: Please do not enter sensitive personal information (such as real names, home addresses, or passwords) into the AI terminal prompt.

4. Payment Processing (Stripe VIP Pass)

For optional Leonida VIP Pass subscriptions, we use the certified payment provider Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. / Stripe, Inc.All payment details (credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank details) are processed directly on Stripe's PCI-DSS encrypted checkout servers.

ViceCityTracker never stores raw credit card numbers on its own servers. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract).

5. Affiliate Links & External Merchants

Our Supply Store links to verified third-party gaming merchants, including Instant Gaming and the Amazon Associates Program. When you click an external affiliate link, the destination merchant may set a referral cookie to attribute the commission.
